What We Believe
Our faith is built on the teachings of Jesus Christ and the revelation of His Kingdom. We believe the Gospel is not only salvation, but a call to live under God’s rule and reign—here and now.
The Bible — God’s Revealed Word
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God—revealing His nature, His will, and His redemptive plan. It is the final authority for faith and conduct, and the lens through which we understand the Kingdom of God.
“All Scripture is God-breathed…” — 2 Timothy 3:16
God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father is Creator and Sustainer. The Son, Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, reveals the Father and redeems humanity. The Holy Spirit indwells and empowers believers for holy, fruitful, Spirit-led living.
“Baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” — Matthew 28:19
Jesus Christ — Our Lord, Savior and King
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, died for our redemption, rose from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of the Father.
Through His finished work, all who repent and believe receive forgiveness and new life.
Salvation is both an instant work of grace and an ongoing journey of transformation—living as citizens of His Kingdom.
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
The Kingdom of God — The Central Message of Jesus
We believe the Kingdom of God is the reign and rule of God revealed through Jesus Christ and now present within every believer.
The Kingdom is not only a future hope but a present reality that transforms hearts, renews minds, and brings Heaven’s order into the earth.
As Jesus declared, “The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand,” and it is our privilege to live, serve, and lead under His authority.
“Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33
The Holy Spirit — Our Source of Power and Guidance
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, producing fruit, granting gifts, and empowering us for service.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to all who desire to live in fullness of power and intimacy with God.
Through the Spirit we receive guidance, revelation, and boldness to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom.
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be My witnesses.” — Acts 1:8
The Church — The Body of Christ on Earth
We believe the Church is the visible expression of Christ’s Kingdom—a community of believers called to love God, serve people, and demonstrate the power of the Gospel.
The Church is not limited to buildings or denominations but is the collective Body of Christ united under one Lord and one mission.
Our purpose is to make disciples, reveal God’s Kingdom, and impact every sphere of influence for His glory.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” — Matthew 5:14
Eternity — Our Blessed Hope
We believe Jesus Christ will return in power and glory to establish His everlasting Kingdom.
Those who have placed their faith in Him will live eternally in His presence, and all creation will be restored under His righteous rule.
Until that day, we live with faith, purpose, and urgency—building the Kingdom of God and reflecting His light to the world.
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:16
Our Confession of Faith
We believe that the Gospel of the Kingdom is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe.
It transforms individuals, restores families, and redeems nations.
We are a church committed to living out that truth—proclaiming the message Jesus preached and advancing His Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven.
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” — Habakkuk 2:14
We believe in Jesus Christ as Lord, the authority of Scripture, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the advancing Kingdom of God. Ascend Life Church teaches sound doctrine rooted in biblical truth.
